There is simply no place like the Inkwell!

In the late 1800s, country clubs began cropping up around the US as private, exclusive spaces reserved for few. During that same era, the Inkwell beach in Oak Bluffs, MA emerged as a safe, inclusive counterbalance; a place where families and friends, especially African Americans, convened in a relaxed environment that strengthened their bonds while reinvigorating their souls.

I have long wanted to create a lifestyle brand that represents the essence of this magical place, its rich history, traditions and uniqueness that my family has enjoyed nearly every summer for 15 years. So, in early 2021 The Inkwell Country Club™ was born.

Through the years, people have met here for leisure, celebrations, weddings, swimming, sunbathing, good food & more. In every sense of the word, the Inkwell is our original country club. And while The Inkwell Country Club™ is not an actual building, it is all about having a brand that is representative of this beautiful community.

The Inkwell Country Club™ endeavors to keep us connected to the culture and one another through branded clothing, accessories and more. I am proud to present the initial 2021 Capsule Collection.
